Having a consumption meter means you can keep an eye on how much power you’re using (and when), and take advantage of load shifting i.e. using energy-hungry appliances when you’re producing your solar. Tracking your consumption patterns will also make it easier for you to decide when to invest in a battery
If you need to see live consumption data, a consumption meter (or CATCH Control hardware) may be your best option. If day-behind consumption data is okay, you may be able to access it via Integrated+. Find out more.
Note: Our CATCH Control integrated solution already collects consumption data via the connected hardware. Existing Wattwatcher-integrated systems also provide consumption monitoring.
Solar Analytics’ subscription pricing can be found on our website here. You will need to know:
- Your preferred payment plan (monthly, yearly, 5 years)
If you choose the CATCH Control integrated solution, your Solar Analytics subscription will be free.
If your system uses a Sungrow, Fronius, GoodWe, GE Solar or LG inverter, you can trial Solar Analytics Integrated free for 30 days by signing up here. Note that your system needs to be equipped with a consumption meter to be able to access the full Solar Analytics experience. For any other system brands or set-ups, it is best to talk to a solar retailer who will be able to cater to your specific system requirements.
Without energy consumption tracking, your Solar Analytics experience will be limited to performance monitoring only. You won’t be able to understand how to optimise your big energy loads, check your electricity bills or find a plan better suited to your needs. That’s why we strongly advise you to check your consumption status before activating Solar Analytics. If your consumption information is missing, consider adding a consumption meter to your system or installing the CATCH Control hardware.
Alternatively, if you live in Australia (ex-NT and WA) and have a Fronius, Sungrow, GoodWe, GE Solar or LG inverter, you may be able to get consumption data directly from your energy retailer with Integrated+.
Solar Analytics Integrated currently connects to Sungrow, Fronius, GoodWe, GE Solar and LG inverters. For any other inverter brand, you can choose to install the CATCH Control to access Solar Analytics via our CATCH Control integrated solution, or keep an eye on our future releases. We are expecting to expand our compatible range of inverters and API connections over the coming months and will share new updates soon!
CATCH Control hardware installation will need to be done by a qualified electrician and ideally by an experienced solar installer. Even if you have the technical know-how, working in a switchboard has an elevated level of risk, and should only be done by a qualified electrician. They will know the correct model unit number for your home and the safest way to manage the installation.
Any qualified electrician can install the CATCH Control, however we always recommend that you work with an accredited solar retailer for all your solar installation and maintenance needs, who will have the right expertise to ensure that you get the best service.
If your solar retailer hasn't heard of Solar Analytics or CATCH Control, ask them to get in touch with our sales team for more information. We'll be happy to talk to them.
Solar Quotes and Solar Choice are two great Australian businesses who qualify solar retailers as reputable businesses.
Due to changing circumstances from 1 Jul 2026, we will no longer support the commissioning of new sites with the Wattwatcher Integrated solution. Where WIFI is available, the CATCH Control is our recommended solution.
Existing sites with Solar Analytics and Wattwatcher branded devices will continue to operate and receive support as usual.
Existing sites can continue with their subscriptions and renewals, and all sites will continue to receive Solar Analytics dashboard and support, and warranty for Solar Analytics branded hardware.
